Hello! We’re Ghita and Zineb, sisters, best friends, and co-founders of Sucré Salé CBR. Originally from Morocco, we grew up speaking French and sharing a love for food, family, and fun. Our business name, “Sucré Salé,” means “Sweet & Savoury” in French—a nod to our heritage and the variety we bring to each of our grazing boxes.

From a young age, we loved playing “restaurant” at home, treating our family to homemade menus and imaginative meals. Ghita has always had a passion for entrepreneurship, while Zineb, who works in pharmacy, has a heart for baking. Together, our journey has been a natural blend of our talents and dreams.

Sucré Salé was born in 2020 during the COVID lockdown. What started as a small project has turned into something much bigger, a way for us to share joy with our Canberra community. It’s been a true rollercoaster as we’ve balanced growing Sucré Salé with university, work, and life, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Through both happy and challenging times, we’ve loved being part of moments that make people smile.

And this is only the beginning! We can’t wait to keep growing, dreaming, and sharing more of Sucré Salé with you.
